Welcome Home Trip - Broomfield, CO

Denver Museum of Miniature Dolls and Toys

We had fun reminiscing in this old house of some of our childhood toys.
 City Park Denver

Going to the park is even more fun when we're together.
This park is really pretty and had some cool statues and canons.

 Fort Collins Temple

Cam talking with a family, their son just got called to the Las Vegas mission. He was taking out his endowment this day.

A trip to Colorado wouldn't be complete without a movie night with our movie buddies.

Hike #2 North Table Mountain Loop Trail/Golden

 Hike #1 Eldorado Canyon

We hiked up the 350 steps to the Shrine of Cabrini. We've walked these steps several times before and the view never disappoints. The shrine is at the top of the mountain in Golden, CO and the rolling green hills reminds us of the Sound of Music.

When your kids like your friends more than their own. 😉 Jasmine & Clayton were the one friends we'd have over, when we lived in CO, that our boys actually loved hanging out with too. So fun to have a game night while we were in town.

When you call a few of your missionary companions to tell them you're an hour an half away from Provo and they drop what their doing to squeeze in a quick lunch. Worth the detour home from Colorado to see our boys face light up when these kids walked in. Lobi!

Homecoming Talk - Palo Verde Ward

I've decided that Missionary homecomings are an AMAZING way to spend celebrating Fathers Day. What a sweet and special day it was listening to Cam's missionary report. His faith building experiences and how he grew to be the best missionary possible were heartfelt. So proud of my boy and the great and obedient missionary he was. Lobi Cam!

First stop today, the temple.

Home Sweet Home - 1st night Shenanigans!

The Pelikaan has landed! My boy is home! Seriously the BEST moment!

I keep trying to find the words to thank God for not only returning my son home to me, but for the incredible job he's done in protecting him and changing him into the young man we reunited with last night. My tears won't stop, my heart is BURSTING with joy, I can't believe he's home. I laugh watching him struggle trying to find the English words and laugh a bit harder when he randomly starts speaking in Dutch. God knows my heart and I'm so thankful for that. #missionarymom #camgivesthebesthugs
